Lisa Harris

Winthrop University

Lisa Harris is an associate professor in the Education Core Department at Winthrop University and is the program coordinator for the Master of Arts in Teaching degree. She teaches courses in educational technology for pre-service teachers, social science research methods, and assessment for classroom teachers. She also works closely with South Pointe High School, a Professional Developement School in the Winthrop University-School Partnership Network. Prior to her current position, she was the Director of the Instructional Technology Center in the College of Education at Winthrop University for 14 years. She also has experience as a middle school media specialist and an elementary school computer teacher. Her research interests include teacher data literacy, Universal Design for Learning, and school/ university partnerships.
