Hyrum Lewis

BYU-Idaho

Hyrum Lewis is a professor of history at BYU-Idaho and was previously a visiting scholar at Stanford University. He received a PhD from the University of Southern California and has written for the Wall Street Journal, Quillette, RealClearPolitics, The Washington Examiner, and other national publications. His most recent book, The Myth of Left and Right (co-authored with Verlan Lewis) was published by Oxford University Press in 2023.
Kami Wilson

BYU-Idaho

Kami Wilson received her bachelor's degree in history with a minor in family science from Brigham Young University and a master's degree in history with an emphasis on women's studies from University of Nebraska at Omaha. She works as an Assistant Instructor Manager and teaches political science classes for Online Learning at BYUI and Ensign College. She is a wife and a mom of six kids.
Hilary Weber

BYU-Idaho

Hilary Weber loves to boast that she went to Ricks College and received an AAS with an emphasis in Sports Medicine in 1997. After serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Chile, Santiago, Hilary finished her BA in Psychology at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2002. Hilary then received a law degree from Texas A&M School of Law in May of 2005. Hilary did practice law (Probate, Wills, Family law) for a little bit before being hired to teach online at BYU-I in 2011 where she teaches several courses in the History and Communications departments. Hilary is happy to be primarily a stay-at-home mother to her 4 children where she resides in Frisco, Texas with her husband of 24 years.
Elizabeth Pingry
Kirse Granat May
Kirse Granat May received her bachelor's degree in history from Smith College and her PhD in American history from the University of Utah. She is the author of Golden State, Golden Youth: The California Image in Popular Culture, 1955-1966 (2002), as well as several articles on California history. She began teaching American Foundations in 2014 at BYUI-I and has taught at other universities as well. She lives in Vancouver, WA.
