The Writing Process

Understanding the basic elements of the writing process can make your job easier and your written product better. The way you use the writing process depends on a lot of things: the task, the time and resources available, your experience with the topic, etc. Think about the writing process as a very fluid, spiraling cycle. You should use the writing process flexibly.
